AI agents are going to build the next generation of software. Or so the hype goes. Sounds like a resume-driven development choice to me. We had this exact meeting in 2017 about microservices. Remember how that went? Yeah, me neither. But hey, at least it’ll keep us busy for a few more years before the AIs take over anyway. Sounds like job security.
